Activating the LinkedIn channel
You do not create a separate LinkedIn agent. Your agent already exists and works on every channel you switch on. Here you only connect your LinkedIn account and take the channel live. The knowledge, name and tone of voice you set earlier apply there straight away.
Go to Agent, then Channels
Agent sits in the left menu. The Channels screen lists all your channels and shows whether each one is live, paused or not yet connected.
Click LinkedIn
This opens the channel and shows what is still needed to go live.
Connect your LinkedIn account
Click Connect and log in with the account that receives the messages.
Take the channel live
Click Activate channel. From that moment your agent answers incoming messages on this channel.
What you can still set per channel
Per channel you only adjust what genuinely has to differ. For LinkedIn that is usually the greeting. The rest, such as your knowledge and behaviour rules, stays shared with your other channels.
A connected account is not yet an active channel. If nothing comes in, first check that the channel is set to live.
