Requesting your phone number
For the phone channel you need your own phone number that visitors can call. You do not request that number separately: it is arranged as soon as you activate the phone channel.
How it works
Open the phone channel
Go to Agent, then Channels and open Phone.
Click Activate
Heyloha then requests a phone number for you. This costs you nothing extra.
Wait a moment
Reserving the number usually takes a few minutes. You do not have to wait around; as soon as the number is available, the channel goes live by itself.
Sometimes extra details are needed before a number can be assigned, for example because of the regulations in your country. Fill in those details if you are asked to, and the request will continue.
When is my number ready?
As soon as the number is reserved, the phone channel is live and your agent answers incoming calls. Do you see that it is still working on it? Then the number is still being requested; that resolves itself.
