Setting up two-step verification
With two-step verification you secure your account with an extra code from an authenticator app, on top of your password. You find the setting in your profile.
Where to find it
Click your profile at the bottom of the left menu and open Profile. Look there for the Two-step verification card.
Turning it on
Click Enable
On the Two-step verification card, click Enable.
Scan the QR code
Scan the QR code with an authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator. Cannot scan it? Then enter the code manually.
Enter the 6-digit code
Type the code from your app and click Confirm.
Save your recovery codes
You are shown recovery codes. Keep them somewhere safe. Each code works once if you do not have access to your app.
Keep your recovery codes separate from your phone, for example in a password manager. Without your app and without a recovery code you can no longer log in.
Turning it off
Want to turn it off? Click Disable and enter a code from your authenticator app or a recovery code.
