Have an AI assistant built for you
We build an AI assistant that knows your business, speaks in your tone and connects to the systems you use. On a platform that already runs, so you do not start from zero and can adjust it yourself afterwards.

Short answer
Having an AI assistant built means a specialist sets it up for you: which questions it answers, from which sources, in what tone, what it may complete and when it brings in a colleague. You bring the knowledge about your business; the builder makes sure the assistant uses it well.
There are three routes: build it yourself with a no-code tool, have it set up on an existing platform, or commission a fully custom build from an agency. Heyloha sits in the middle. We set up your assistant for you and build custom integrations where needed, but the technology underneath already exists and we maintain it.
That saves time and money compared with a fully custom build, and you do not depend on a developer for every change: after handover you adjust the assistant yourself in your dashboard.
What you get
An assistant ready for real customers, not a demo that only works in a presentation.
- A knowledge source built from your website, documents and FAQs, so answers match your information
- A persona and tone of voice that fit your brand, with house rules about what the assistant does and does not say
- Workflows for what a conversation should produce: an appointment in your calendar, a lead in your CRM, a callback request or a completed form
- One assistant for phone, website chat, WhatsApp, email and social media
- Integrations with your systems, from Outlook and HubSpot to custom integrations with most other software
- Handover to a colleague with the conversation context, and an honest 'I don't know' instead of an invented answer
- Storage in the EU, phone calls transcribed but not recorded, and an AI disclosure that meets the EU AI Act
How we build your assistant
Every step produces something you can see and test, so you do not discover at the end that it should have been different.
- 1
Introduction
We discuss what the assistant should do, on which channels, and which systems it has to work with. By the end you know what we will build and what it costs.
- 2
Loading your knowledge
We load your website and documents as the knowledge source. If something customers often ask is missing, we write it down together with you.
- 3
Persona, rules and workflows
We write how the assistant speaks, what it may and may not say, and which steps it follows for an appointment, a lead or a complaint.
- 4
Connecting
We connect the assistant to your calendar, CRM, webshop or other system. If an integration does not exist yet, we build it on request.
- 5
Testing with real questions
We run the assistant against the questions your customers actually ask and refine it until answers and handovers are right. You review and sign off.
- 6
Live and fine-tuning
The assistant goes live on the channels you choose. In the first weeks we read conversations back and add knowledge where it hesitated.
Build it yourself, have it set up, or fully custom?
The route decides what you pay, how fast you are live and who you depend on. Choose by what your assistant needs to do, not by the technology.
Build it yourself
You assemble an assistant yourself with a no-code tool or a platform like Heyloha.
Fits if you have time, your questions are straightforward and you like being hands-on.
Watch out: writing a good knowledge source and good handover rules takes longer than it looks.
Set up on a platform
A specialist sets up the assistant for you on a platform that already works and is maintained. This is what Heyloha does.
Fits if you want a reliable assistant quickly that you can adjust yourself afterwards.
Watch out: you work within what the platform can do; unusual integrations are built separately.
Fully custom
An agency builds an assistant from scratch, often on top of a language model and its own software.
Fits processes that go far beyond customer contact, or if you want to own everything yourself.
Watch out: highest cost, longest timeline, and every change runs through the agency.
What businesses have assistants built for
Most assistants we build do one of these jobs, often several at once.
Customer service
Answer recurring questions about prices, delivery times, opening hours and terms straight away, around the clock. See automating customer service.
Phone reception
Answer the phone itself, book appointments and transfer warmly, including during busy spells and after closing.
Lead qualification
Ask visitors the right questions, put the answers in your CRM and let your team follow up only the serious enquiries.
Appointment booking
Check availability in your calendar and book the appointment directly, without back-and-forth email. See the calendar integration.
Webshop questions
Look up order status, stock and returns through an integration with your store. See AI for online stores.
Sector-specific features
For estate agents we built an edition with nine property features and integrations with Realworks and KeyVue. See the add-ons.
What does it cost to have an AI assistant built?
Market overviews from Dutch agencies often quote €2,000 to €5,000 in build costs for a simple FAQ assistant, €5,000 to €15,000 for an assistant with multiple steps and integrations, and more for complex systems. Monthly hosting and usage costs come on top.
Because Heyloha does not build from scratch, you pay a fixed monthly fee for the platform, from €149 a month with every channel included. What the setup and any custom integrations cost, you hear up front in a quote, so there are no surprises.
If you want to get a feel for it first, you can also try the platform free for 14 days and decide afterwards whether to have it set up. See pricing or use the ROI calculator.
What businesses achieve with it
Van der Linden Makelaardij
675 conversations a month, around 56 hours saved.
Mojo Concerts (De Grote Schijn)
32 hours saved and 70% fewer repeat questions.
Read all customer stories.
When we are not the right builder
- Your assistant mainly needs to do internal work, such as processing invoices or market research. Heyloha is built for conversations with customers.
- You want to own and run the full source code and infrastructure yourself.
- You rarely get recurring questions and mostly hold one-off advisory conversations.
Frequently asked questions about having an AI assistant built
What does it cost to have an AI assistant built?
For fully custom work, agencies often quote €2,000 to €15,000 or more in build costs. With Heyloha you pay a monthly platform fee, from €149 a month, and get a quote up front for the setup and any custom integrations.
How long until my assistant is live?
It depends on the number of channels and integrations. Because we build on an existing platform, no software has to be written from scratch, which makes the project considerably shorter than a fully custom build. You hear what to expect in the introduction.
Can I change the assistant myself afterwards?
Yes. After handover you adjust knowledge, tone, rules and workflows yourself in your dashboard. You do not depend on us for every small change, although we are happy to help with bigger ones.
Which systems can you connect?
As standard, among others, Outlook, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Shopify, Zapier, Make, n8n and webhooks. For most other systems we build an integration on request. See all integrations.
What is the difference between an AI assistant, a chatbot and an AI agent?
A classic chatbot follows a fixed script. An AI assistant understands questions in plain language and answers from your information. An AI agent goes a step further and also completes tasks, such as booking an appointment. The assistants we build do the latter.
Do I need technical knowledge?
No. You know your business and your customers; we make sure the assistant uses that knowledge well. Managing it afterwards requires no programming skills.
Where is my data stored?
On servers in the EU. Phone calls are transcribed but not recorded, and personal data is masked before a conversation reaches the language model. See security.
Tell us what your assistant should do
In a short call we go through your channels, your systems and what it will deliver. Afterwards you know exactly what we build and what it costs.
